Diversification

I am all for keeping my options open. I do many different things online and off. Some of you may not know but in addition to being a web Goddess, I also run a jewelry business. I create unique pieces that cater to people of alternate religions. I.e. Pagans, druids, wiccans, etc. Some people look at one thing that I do, in this case my clips4sale store, and see that I dont update it much. Ok, ok, almost never, lol. They see that and make assumptions about me that are dead wrong. They may think that I have no way of producing content on my own, that I have noone to work with, that I am just a flustering newbie who isnt really sure what to do.
The fact is…is that I only have so much time in my day. How do I choose what to work on? It can be frustrating. The amount of just social networking sites that I’m on alone is mind-boggling. Myspace, xpeeps, adultspace, smutvibes, fubar, fetlife, mydungeonspace, mybootyspace, pornhub. Some are fetish specific, some arent. And that is just social networks…that doesnt take into account forums, pic post sites, or those sites where I actually do things to make money. All this is before you even GET to my personal site.
So, I’ll tell you how I make the choice. I work on those things that give me enjoyment, those things that are fun. My site is fun, I love the attention it brings me, the platform for exposing myself, hehe. I love working on sets and videos for my site when I have the time. Right now, alot of my fun comes from Rude. I cam there and it allows me to expose myself in completely new and different ways. Sometimes though I get so caught up in ONE thing, I want to do it perfectly, and make the most of my time there. Sometimes I have to step back and figure out why I am doing a certain thing.
Take for example, Imlive. I was looking around for another camsite to work on, in my downtime with Rude. I looked at ALOT of them, and I picked Imlive because they have some really neat features. One thing I liked is that I can have up to three people in a private show at one time!! That is really neat. The thing that sold me on it though, was the Keyhole feature. I can be IN a show, or just waiting for a show…and someone can peek into my room and see what I’m doing. Just like if they were spying on me through a keyhole, hehe. So, even though I make less there, the features make it quite an experience for me, and one that I really like to play with.
